Paxos Aims to Scale Hyperliquid Assets Globally with PayPal Partnership
Paxos has unveiled its USDH Proposal V2, a strategic initiative to position Hyperliquid as a dominant force in decentralized finance. The plan hinges on three core upgrades: integration with PayPal and Venmo, frictionless USDH on/off-ramps, and a $20 million ecosystem incentive fund.
The PayPal collaboration grants Hyperliquid access to 400 million users and 35 million merchant touchpoints through platforms like Venmo, Braintree, and Xoom. HYPE tokens will debut on PayPal's consumer apps, while USDH gains free settlement channels—creating a bridge between traditional finance and DeFi.
Paxos ties its revenue model directly to Hyperliquid's success, with earnings capped at 5% of total value locked. This alignment underscores the company's conviction in USDH's potential to become a benchmark stablecoin.
